Finishing a task I have set myself always brings me joy, no matter how simple or small the task.
I feel a simple joy when I finish an application for a job, when I finish reading a chapter of a book, when I finish a book. In fact here is a small lift, I left doing this prompt a bit late, since I’m meant to be volunteering soon so this will probably be a short list.
When I post a picture on instagram and see some people have liked it.
When I post on here and see people have viewed and sometimes liked it, that gives me joy.
When I finish a video game or a trial on a video game, and I am able to defeat the enemy or figure out the puzzles in the game.
When I watch YouTube videos of YouTubers I watch regularly or find a particular interesting video.
I also enjoy eating, haha! I’m already looking forward to visiting a cafe I normally go to after I volunteer, where I have lunch and they know my name and everything XD
Meeting up with friends, also brings me joy!
I also feel joy when I finish small online courses I’ve been doing, that will hopefully help me get the job I want and I’m also doing an short online course for Spanish as well, that I feel joy when I finish and move on to the next course and there are many short courses I’m going through and I also feel joy whenever I understood something/understand a concept to do with the language.
This was longer than I meant it to be and I’m sure there are more things but I do need to stop writing or I’ll be late, ha, I hope if you are reading this you are having or had a good day!
