Sit back and relax!

I however realised that would be a problem…because I now stood in the classroom, alone.
“Oh…” I muttered.
Well, finding someone to have a break with might be a little difficult then…
I distantly heard something giggle in my bag. Nope! No! We were not doing this!
It’s just a normal break, right? And, when you get a normal break, so no one realised you’re just standing there by yourself, what do you do? Try this fail-safe and tested method and go to the toilets! Or the baño as they say in Spanish.
The toilets were right by the classroom, and I realised my second problem. There was a long line, and it was not toilets but a toilet, one toilet, among many students in a similar position as me, likely minus the I don’t know what else to do with my break part as I have no one to hang out with part.
So I was almost late back from the break due to waiting to use the toilets for so long.
I realised as I thought about my break, that I had no plans for what to do after we finished our Spanish lesson.
While the chatter began in our group, I started to space out and wonder, so…what next?
I had thought I would be able to go and explore Granada with my new roommate, but the distance I could feel from Sarah made me struggle to picture us going around together.
I guess I’d just go and explore Granada, alone? A part of me was excited, the other part of me tried to ignore the monster smiling darkly from my bag…
Alone properly, for the first time, exploring, in a foreign country, a foreign city and a foreign language?
My monster murmured quietly “What could possibly go wrong?”
