My most recent travel story, please sit back and relax.

Back of the school, facing away from the narrow entrance.
My arrival at the Spanish School was a little chaotic to say the least. The Taxi Driver proceeded to go down long and narrow roads where people had to squish themselves against the wall to avoid the car, I didn’t realise that this was normal for quite a few roads, and I’d be soon doing that as well.
The monster giggled about our taxi driver accidentally running someone over, then we’d be in trouble, I hit it on the head with my phone. The Taxi driver eventually stopped outside a small, long and uphill lane, bustling with shops. On second thoughts, I should have mentioned I didn’t know much Spanish as he told me where to go from here, in Spanish. I did recognise two Spanish words, in front and left, so I decided yep, I knew where I was going and continued on my merry way.
I’m aware that was not the smartest thing to do. I dragged the suitcase uphill through a pathway swelling with busy tourists, locals and shop owners, I probably would have found this such a fascinating site if my monster hadn’t been whispering in my ear, this was it, I was lost.
I went dragged my suitcase up the busy path, trying not to bump into anyone, which was hard to do! I was sweating by the time I reached the top, near a small pretty sandy coloured church, now where to next? He’d told me to turn left, but which left? There were plenty of pathways spreading out from the current uphill path I’d been on, going in that direction, so I decided to use my trusted Google Maps.
Which did lead me to towards a plaza and down one of the smaller roads, but the road ended with a strange narrow pathed entrance. The monster was now dancing around me laughing in a sing-song voice “I told you so, I told you so, we’re lost, we’re lost”
“Shut up, we’re not lost!” I snapped as I sent a quick ‘help me’ text to a contact I had been given for the school. A couple of minutes later, three large men walked past me, up the narrow entrance, and they did in fact look a little intimidating. I still wondered if I should ask them about the school, feeling a bit desperate, with the monster whispering to me, it had been right all along, this was all just an elaborate scam, and I’d be robbed if I followed them. Then the monster wrapped its furry blue hands over my mouth, stopping me from talking, and soon they were out of sight.
Thankfully, my contact did get back to me and a woman soon appeared from the narrow entrance, telling me that I had been in the back entrance of the school, following her, with the monster still whispering to me that this was all a scam, I tried my best not to trip over these narrow stairs that lead me into a familiar path? I soon realised I was back at the start! On the uphill path near the church! I followed her up the hill again, then we turned left, and my monster finally had started to become silent.
However, there was one more problem, the woman who had introduced herself as Elisa, well let’s pretend she did, I’m not using real names for this story. We reached a door (I realised I must have stupidly walked past this door and not seen the sign that said Escuela Delengua, which I neglected to tell her and blamed the Taxi driver for taking me to an odd place, sorry!) Anyway, here was the last problem, we reached the door and Elisa then started panicking as she realised she had left her keys inside, and we were locked out.
My monster grinned…
