Sit back and relax!

She asked me the question again in Spanish, I desperately repeated the words in my head, trying to see if I recognised any words, that could hint at what she was asking me, maybe it was really simple, like what was your name moment? I hoped not, or I would be getting doubly embarrassed today.
Sadly, I had to shake my head, giving a nervous chuckle as I said “I don’t understand, sorry”
She then explained to me in English, she’d had asked what everyone’s plans were today.
Honestly I had no plans, all I knew was that I wanted to walk around Granada and explore a little as well as study some of my Spanish.
While I knew how to say I’m studying Spanish, I had no clue how to say anything else, thankfully she seemed to accept this answer, and she handed out more Spanish papers, I glanced through the papers, noticing most of the words on there, I had not studied.
Once again my monster chuckled in my bum bag and I could practically hear it laughing at how doomed I was in this lesson.
No, this will be okay, I told myself, I’m here to learn, right?
Then I felt any hope I had at grasping on to this lesson die as the tutor proceeded to explain to us how to do the activities on the paper…in Spanish.
Everyone else nodded in understanding, while I sat there, wishing the ground would swallow me up…
Find out what happens next chapter!Β
