If you had to change your name, what would your new name be?

This in an interesting question! I probably would either do two things, I would choose someone’s name that meant something to me or I would just go with a character in fiction media I like the name of.

Here’s some I really like the name of and if I had to pick another name I’d think of them.

• Wilma, Will for short, I always been fascinated with this name since I was a child after I read and watched a children’s programme called W.I.T.C.H and the leader of the superhero group was called called Wilma but everyone called her Will and since I was a tom boy and still kind of am, I liked and still like the fact that it sounds boyish as well.
  
  
• Piper, also for many years I liked, mainly due to a character called Piper in a supernatural series called Charmed and I loved the personality of the women called Piper and I wished I could be more fun like her. She also was making clumsy mistakes that reminded me of myself.

• Zoe, I have known some people in my life called Zoe and they always seemed like confident people who knew what to say and had very strong personality, some of them I didn’t even feel very connected too but I did admire them and they all seemed to have this confidence I missed, I think I am getting there in certain situations but still I admire their no nonsense personalities but at the same time they were kind enough to put up with my shyer self.

• Amy, I don’t know why I like this name so much, it just sticks in my head and I tend to use the name a lot in my stories but I don’t even know anyone called Amy or remember a fictional character with her name, so yeah I have no idea why I like this name so much, I just do 🤷‍♀️

• Isobel, I think some people think of Isobel as a soft name but to me it sounds like a badass shadowhunting name and I will not ever stop thinking about her character when I hear that name. She is from the books called the Mortal Instruments and an adapted TV series called Shadowhunters which I surprisingly got through season 1. But the other seasons were so much better.

• Leez, another fictional character coming up, if you enjoy comics, webtoons or manga then let me present to you my favourite webtoon, Kubera and the main character is called Leez (She also has some other names but that’s spoilers) Anyway this is my favourite fictional story of all time. It’s super long but so worth it! If you like fictional worlds filled to the brim with mysteries, gods, magicians and these other creatures called Suras, lore and fantastic characters and their connections with easy other, you’ll love this webtoon.
  
  
• It has got some cool action to it but it’s more to do with characters interactions with each other and their pasts. The way all these characters, including Leez, fit together and their stories intertwine is amazing. I feel like Kubera isn’t getting the attention it deserves so if you don’t mind a lot of dialogue but also love lore and characters in general, love a good mysteries and there’s also romance in there too and you just enjoy narratives feeling very smooth in the way they connect, please read Kubera! You won’t regret it!
  
  
• Honestly the world building, how far back they go into a lot of characters remind me of Game of Thrones but many characters in Kubera are immortal so there’s still grudges being held for long time but there’s also humans with ordinary life span who also have different perspectives and it’s so interesting and fantastic!

• Anyway as Leez is the main character and as a testament of how much I love this series and I think she’s mentally strong due to putting up with a lot of tragic events despite her being a bit dumb and clumsy sometimes, though I find her clumsiness very relatable and her also trying to hide her pain behind a smile, in fact another important interesting character tells her, this is just a summary “You’re crying” She says confused “No, I’m not” and he says “You’re crying inside” and due to his character it even makes sense that he can tell her true emotional state and that just felt very important to me. So yeah I think of that amazing series when I think of that name, so I would love to be called Leez too.

It’s funny to me that these are all mainly fictional characters, I thought I would be able to think up some special names to me in real life, I’m sure I have some but I just can’t remember them right now 😅

I understand if you didn’t read all of this though as it’s quite long… but ps seriously Kubera is a fantastic series! If you decide to read it, at least read up to thirty five chapters before making your choice to continue but it does continue to get better and better! Thirty five chapters isn’t too much if you consider that this series has over 500 chapters! I have started to reread and I am on 150th chapter right now 🙂
