Daily Prompt, Favourite Recipe?

What’s your favorite recipe?

This might be a hard one! I’m not that interested in cooking! Strange thing is, I do enjoy watching cooking videos or reading recipes that I imagined myself doing but er going to do it is another thing entirely πŸ˜…

I suppose if I really had to pick, even though I haven’t made it in years, what I really liked that I helped make, I think it was me and my sister that made them, were these savoury gravy, leek and chicken pies, made out of incredibly thin pastries. I don’t really remember the recipe but it was really nice!

I also just thought of these simple, basic, chocolate snacks that we made! I really liked them! Basically melt down chocolate and chop up bananas and dunk the bananas into the chocolate then put them in the freezer for a long time and there you have it! Chocolate banana snacks! I personally think they go quite well together!

I was making the biscuits (Cookies for Americans, since it seems a lot of my views are from the US, which I always found fun because we call all of of our cookies biscuits and a certain type of biscuit is a cookie πŸͺ while I think your biscuit equivalent, I think we’d call a scone instead, they might be slightly different though) Anyway you see the picture of the biscuits I made at the top, to help fundraise some money for a course I was in, that was meant to help with your confidence. I made the most money from the fundraiser which I was quite proud of 😊

  1. Our biscuits and your scones are a little different, but eh… similar. πŸ™‚

    1. Yeah, they look similar, I guess now I think about it, I assume they taste different though. I just watched a video that said they were the same, guess they were kind of wrong πŸ˜…

      1. Buttermilk biscuits are a unique flavor (so I’ve been told). I used to make them all the time and when I made them for my friends from overseas, they went over the moon about them. They’re really simple to make and you can look up the recipe online to find out for yourself. πŸ™‚
