I hope I will do this before I go away on holiday from now on. 

I am going away on the 22nd on a family holiday, with my parents and our dog. My sister will only be joining us for a couple of days since she is studying.

We are going to a small town in Suffolk, still in England, my home country. We are staying in a cottage, that doesn’t seem to be near anything else, other than countryside and I believe there is a pub in a couple of minutes walking distance. 

I know there is a castle nearby but not in walking distance and there are a couple of art galleries as well, which I would love to visit. 

There are some beaches, too, that look pretty. I am hoping that it won’t be cold or rainy while we are there! The temperature looks fairly good, so I am not bringing any big coats with me. I am hoping it won’t rain too much because I only have one waterproof coat, which currently I can’t actually find, ha.

I think we will be leaving for our holiday around 11am GMT tomorrow. 

I predict we’ll do a lot of walking with our dog, Merlin, who will probably love it. He loved the last holiday we had with him, where he went to the beach. I do believe there are some beaches nearby, so he’ll love that!

I think the only thing I’ll not look forward too, is the food because I’m on a gluten-free diet, along with some other foods I can’t have, so I won’t be able to just pick whatever I want from a menu like usual when we go out. 

I also would love some late mornings, so I get to sleep more. We also brought some board games with us. I found this board game which I haven’t played in years, so it’ll be fun to play again!

Also, some exciting news, I’ve got an interview on the 26th, I might blog about it, I’m not sure, but anyway it means I’ll have to travel back home the day before, then after the interview, travel back up to our holiday, it will be a busy day. I’m hoping it doesn’t overshadow my holiday too much, though, because I’ve been looking forward to relaxing on this holiday for a while!

Overall, I’m hoping this will be a relaxing holiday, with me sleeping in and going on beautiful country walks with my family and our dog. I think I’ll probably film our dog’s reaction to our cottage and put it on Instagram or TikTok or maybe both, something like that, I love watching him get super excited about things, he reminds me of a child!
