Daily Prompt, Life Without Computer?

Daily writing prompt
Your life without a computer: what does it look like?

This is going to be short since I’m pretty tired right now but also can’t think of much to say.

If they mean computer like my phone and tablet also, then probably a lot, I do a lot of things on my phone and laptop so my hobbies and how I look into jobs would change.

I think I applied for most courses I’ve done on my computer too and my current job I applied for it on my phone, so I wouldn’t be able to do any of that easily.

Who knows, my job could be different, my hobbies, my courses, it could be a completely different life! So odd to think about!

If they don’t mean my phone or tablet, then not much would chance, since I can just use my phone for things instead of my laptop.

I think back to when I was in primary school and my first phone was so thick, with no games on it, no apps, I don’t think I even knew about the concept of apps back then, I remember being super excited when I got my phone with my first game on it, snakes, I played it so much! Its amazing and even a little scary how far tech has come!

  1. We’ve come a super long way in such a short time. But for this prompt, I considered tablets and smart phones as pocket computers. πŸ™‚

    1. Yeah! It’s so fast! 😱 that makes sense! I wasn’t sure whether to consider them like that but if I do then I feel like so many peoples lives would be very different!

  2. It seems like this is a topic that resonates with many people. Personally, I believe it’s a strictly personal matter. Today, what’s necessary for earning a living is considered a luxury: computers, smartphones, the internet, and everything required to make ends meet. Currently, it’s almost impossible to do without technology. Even if you work as a farmer, you still have to run advertisements and promote yourself, or else no one knows you exist. It was different in the past, for sure, but I believe the right question isn’t whether it’s possible to do without these tools; rather, the problem lies in regulating their use so that we don’t become slaves to them.
