The prompt thing seems to not be working again. So the question is “What alternative career paths have you considered or are interested in?”

I like this question, I think I’ll do a bullet list and my thoughts on it.

Screen Writer

I had a love of screen writing during my university years while I was on a television degree. I eventually started pursuing other interests but I did really consider it for a while and I even looked at a screen writing degree.

Author

I’m still pursuing this, though its more like a hobby rather than something I want to actually make a living out of it.

Animator

I always had a interest in animation but I had to drop some things to focus on and decide it wasn’t realistic to try and pursue it. I did get this huge animation book for christmas once and once I have my life sorted out more I plan to try and make a small animated video.

Actress

From five years old, to sixteen I was in a thearte youth group and I loved it. I loved pretending to be someone I’m not on the stage, I almost pursued drama education wise at sixteen but decided to go for media production instead. I always wonder what would have happened if I’d chosen the drama route instead. Funny story, I actually almost went for it but the course I tried out for (I had to audition for it) They couldn’t decide with set to put me in (like set 1 if you’ve really good and set 2 if you need more help) and I got fed up with waiting, so I chose the media production course instead, which in the end lead me to do a media production degree.

I was so nervous and imagine my surprise and anxiety when I’m told after trying to give the best acting I could (I performed a monologue from Romeo and Juliet) and feeling more relaxed since (I thought) the audition for the course is over but it wasn’t and now that they want me to come back and do ANOTHER audition, which I did, but they still couldn’t decide 😦

Animal carer

I always liked animals and the only reason I didn’t think about becoming a vet is because I’m no good with blood and tend to get over emotional when an animal is injured. I thought about it but decided that I might mess it up and didn’t want that kind of responsability.

Film critic.

I’m sort of pursuing this, I have another wordpress website where I review anime and I plan to do films too but like the author thing its more of a hobby and I’m more focused on this website right now, I’m hoping once I’ve got my life sorted out more, that I’ll plan it better and start updating it again.

A job to do with Spanish Translation.

I turned this job desire into just learning spanish and visiting spain as much as possible, so its not something I think is realistic any longer. Once I am fluent in Spanish I might think about it more but theres no point in looking into this until I am actually incredibly good with Spanish, which I’m not.

A job to do with museums

I’m actually pursuing this and have done multiple interviews, unfortently no such luck.

A job to do with travel and/or tourism.

I’m also actually pursuing this, I’m looking at jobs in an airport or at a travel agency, this also includes this travel blog, I’ve mostly been doing daily prompts right now but I’m slowly writing more and more for my next travel post until its ready to update. I’m also hoping I’ll be able to focus more on my travel blog, if I get a job to do with travel, since I’ll have even more to write about.
