“What does it mean to be a kid at heart?”
Great question!
I think it means when you don’t take yourself so seriously, that you can be playful or/and still enjoy things you enjoyed as a kid.
I also think when you behave childishly but in a friendly, playful, funny or innocent way.
I think most adults have it in them to return to their childhood for a moment or behave more like a kid, whether it due to nostalgia, or thats just a part of their personality they never let go of.
This reminds me of a television show I watched when I was a child once, it was a cooking show, I can’t remember it exactly but I do know that the cooks made this magical delicious chocolaty, sugary experience for some people who were in their thirties and forties.
I watched in wonder as these adults returned to their childhood, giggling, chattering loudly and excitedly, some even flicking food about! And it really made me think!
I think I find myself being more a “kid at heart” when I play video games or if I am extreamly passionate about something and around people I’m comfortible with, I find myself being more playful and behaving more like when I was a child rather than a adult like I’m supposed to be, ha.
And I think with the right situation, most adults can be kids at heart.
(Edit, I somehow forgot to post this last night, I just fell asleep! Sorry!)
